TheNO-DIG Berlin organized by the German Society for Trenchless Technology (GSTT) with a lecture symposium and an exhibition will take place again in Berlin on March 8/9, 2022. The DCA supports this event alongside other associations as a so-called “supporter” and is also represented with two interesting HDD lectures.
For the first time, NO-DIG Berlin will take place within the framework of the 17th Pipeline Technology Conference, which will be held from March 07-10 at the ESTREL Congress Center in Berlin. Since the discontinuation of Berlin Wasser international (BWI), NO DIG Berlin has found a new platform to present itself in the Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) as the leading European event for the pipeline industry. Theglobal pipeline industrymeets at the fringe event for four days to exchange knowledge, establish contacts and learn about new developments among industry players. From now on, NO DIG Berlin will offer the professional audience an interesting platform for state-of-the-art trenchless construction techniques every year in the course of this event as one of the top events of ptc.
After two years in which the Pipeline Technology Conference was held exclusively online, this year’s ptc will be held as a hybrid event. This will combine the central face-to-face event, ptc Berlin, with a virtual platform, ptc Remote.
In addition to the symposium, which offers experts a unique opportunity to exchange information and experience on trenchless technology, there will also be an exhibition, which will be further expanded in the coming years. In addition to the technology leaders of the international pipeline industry, participants and exhibitors from the field of municipal distribution networks will also be increasingly represented through a partnership GSTT.
In the course of the lecture program, DCA will be represented on 09.03. . in lecture block 2 with the presentations of Thomas Winkler, LMR Drilling GmbH on the topic “Life is a beach – New technologies used on challenging HDD shore approaches for cable system” and of DCA board member Scott Stone, Michels Trenchless Europe GmbH & Co.
