The Drilling Contractors Association (DCA) is holding its 30th annual congress from 30 September to 02 October 2026, to which we would like to cordially invite you to Rome, Italy. Members, partners and friends of the DCA will meet at the Sheraton Rome Parco de Medici hotel for interesting presentations and an exchange of experiences.
Calling all ladies! The group ‘Women Empowering HDD’ is organising a ‘Girls only – Network-Event’ again this year. We hereby invite all women in the DCA to meet on 30th October 2026 at 05.00 pm in the Tapas bar Bolero Bamberg (Judenstr. 7-9, Bamberg) to exchange ideas, strengthen the group and initiative and enjoy the event together. Come and join us!
On Thursday afternoon, a workshop titled “We are in trouble – how can we shoot it?” will take place in the congress room.It consists of four consecutive sessions covering various topics, each accompanied by an introduction:
Bending Radii
HDD Categorization
Ground Investigation for HDD
Pulling Forces
Simultaneous interpretation services will also be provided during the workshop.
On Thursday evening, the event will be held at “Corte di Arenaro”—a typical 19th-century Roman country estate located a 20-minute drive from the congress hotel (Dress code: Business Casual).Bus transportation has been arranged.
The exhibition will take place during the congress in a marquee located in the outdoor area behind the congress room.Coffee breaks will also be held in this area.Exhibition spaces will be allocated based on the order in which registrations are received.
Registration information:
Due to the excellent response to previous annual congresses and the limited overall congress capacity, DCA member companies are generally given priority when registering by the registration deadline.
In general up to 3 employees per company may be registered. PLATINUM Sponsors may register 5 employees, and GOLD Sponsors may register 4 employees. Board members, speakers, and accompanying persons are counted separately.

Conference Fee per employee €740
Exhibition space €250 (for Sponsors free of charge)
Companion Program €370
*Meals included, hotel rooms excluded. For registrations after 04th September 2026 additional processing costs of 50 € per person will be charged. Free written cancellation is possible until 14 days before the start. After this date we have to charge the full participation fees. The association is not entitled to deduct input tax.
Participation in the congress program includes all designated events, with the exception of the daytour (companion program) on Thursday. Participation in the companion program includes all designated events, excluding the presentations and the interactive workshop on Thursday afternoon.
Note on registration for speakers:
DCA members who are giving a presentation at the annual congress should also register for the congress via the registration portal. Please also make your room reservation via the hotel links.
