The Drilling Contractors Association (DCA) is holding its 30th annual congress from 30 September to 02 October 2026, to which we would like to cordially invite you to Rome, Italy. Members, partners and friends of the DCA will meet at the Sheraton Rome Parco de Medici hotel for interesting presentations and an exchange of experiences.

Note on the program:
Calling all ladies! The group ‘Women Empowering HDD’ is organising a ‘Girls only – Network-Event’ again this year. We hereby invite all women in the DCA to meet on 8 October 2025 at 05.00 pm in the Tapas bar Bolero Bamberg (Judenstr. 7-9, Bamberg) to exchange ideas, strengthen the group and initiative and enjoy the event together. Come and join us!
Registration information:
Due to the very positive response to previous annual congress and the limited capacity, DCA member companies will be given priority when registering before the registration deadline. Please complete the registration form for each participant individually. Up to four participants per company can be registered in the drop-down menu below (including participants who are giving a presentation). Companying persons are not included in the number of participants. When additional persons wish to participate, please contact our office directly. You will then be placed on the waiting list.
This year’s annual congress will once again focus on HDD workshops dealing with aspects of the new technical guidelines. A total of four topic areas are planned, each of which will be discussed in five workshop groups:
• Radius
• HDD categories
• Soil investigation for HDD
• Pulling forces
When registering for the workshops, please select your preferred language (German, English, or both). The board will then compile the five groups from the list of participants. The above topics will be discussed in parallel in all groups.
During the congress, the exhibition will take place in the foyer adjoining the congress room. The coffee breaks will also take place in this area. The exhibition space will be allocated after receipt of the registration. Sponsors do not automatically receive an exhibition space.
The evening event on Thursday will take place at “the Hofscheune Leimershof” in Breitengüßbach, 20 minutes by car from the congress hotel (dress code: business casual). Buses are organised.
Note on registration for speakers:
DCA members who are giving a presentation at the annual congress should also register for the congress via the registration portal. Please also make your room reservation via the hotel links. PARTICIPATION FEES PER PERSON*:
DCA members: € 740
Gold sponsors: € 600 (for max. 3 participants per person, additional person € 740)
Silver sponsors: € 600 (for max. 2 participants per person, additional person € 740)
Exhibition: € 250 (sponsors free of charge)
Spouse programme: € 370* (participation fee for accompanying persons only)
! Note: The spouse programme includes participation in all the events listed with the exception of the lectures and workshops. As part of the spouse programme, a day trip to Franconian Switzerland, including lunch, will take place on Thursday parallel to the congress.
*Catering included, hotel room excluded. For registrations after 05th September 2025, an additional processing fee of €50 per person will be charged. Free written cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the start of the event. After this date, the full participation fee will be charged. The association is not authorised to deduct input tax.
