Certification of specialised companies according to DVGW worksheet GW 302 (Germany) Group GN2: Horizontal directional drilling methods for gas and water pipelines.
Within the framework of DVGW worksheet GW 302, there are various trenchless methods according to which companies can be certified for the installation and rehabilitation of pipes that are not in operation. A distinction is made between the groups ‘Rehabilitation (R)’ and ‘Trenchless re-laying (GN)’. Group GN2 in the area of trenchless re-laying includes ‘horizontal directional drilling methods for gas and water pipelines’.
No certification without specialised supervision in the company!
DVGW CERT GmbH, as one the industry certifier in the gas and water sector and also a DCA member, certifies specialised companies on the basis of the regulations of the Deutschen Vereins des Gas- und Wasserfachs (DVGW e.V.). One of the conditions for certification according to with DVGW worksheet GW 302 is the training of specialised personnel (technical supervisors, site managers, machine operators). This takes place on the basis of DVGW worksheet GW 329 at the DVGW-recognised training centres Bohrmeisterschule Celle and BAU ABC-Rostrup. The DCA supports the training centres both technically and in the course of the tests to be carried out.
The team of experts at DVGW CERT GmbH, which is responsible for organising the technical discussions as part of the certification process, is supported by the DCA board. The DCA is therefore active in the certification of HDD companies in addition to the technical management of the training courses.
