“To drill or not to drill – that’s the question”, this is the topic of the 26th DCA Annual Congress, which will be held in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel from October 05-07, 2022. The congress venue is located southeast of Birmingham in the English county of Warwickshire.. The annual congress will kick off on Thursday with an interesting guest lecture by Heinz Leuters, experienced pilot and flight instructor as well as certified leadership expert on the topic “Don’t f**k up the Landing” “Mastering risks when they occur – Making situation-specific decisions”. In addition to other expert presentations on specific topics,two workshops will again take center stage. Workshop 1 will be dedicated to ” The role of drilling fluid in the borehole.” Workshop 2 will deal with the topic “Accuracies in HDD drilling”. On Friday, as is tradition, presentations on current HDD projects from Europe, including from the UK and Finland, are again planned.
Due to the very good response in the course of the registration for the congress in the past years and the overall limited capacities in the hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, DCA member companies have in principle priority in the registration.
Starting this year, registration for the congress will be exclusively digital via the DCA homepage. Registration for non-members will be activated at a later date, depending on the registration situation.
