The association’s members‘ meeting took place on February 4, 2026, as a hybrid event at the Hotel Wardenburger Hof in Wardenburg near Oldenburg. DCA Managing Director Dietmar Quante welcomed around 70 of the 206 member companies (160 participants) to the event.
In addition to reports on ongoing DCA projects, the main focus of the meeting was a presentation by Mathias Drücker from Tennet TSO GmbH on the topic of “NEP 2026 – current discussion on underground cables vs. overhead lines.” This was followed by an interesting panel discussion with DCA representatives, who reported on the current state of the HDD industry in Europe. The discussion was moderated by board member Camila Sanchez Prado.
There was also a new addition to the board. Timo Mücke, managing director of Beermann Bohrtechnik GmbH, was elected as the fourth general board member.
